5.10. Changing the Regional Settings
The System Configuration utility enables you to select how the PIXIL operating environment displays dates and numbers by selecting a region.
From the System Configuration menu, tap the Regional Settings menu item.
The System Configuration Utility starts the regional settings selector.
To select a region, tap the Region menu, and select the region you want.
The region selector displays samples dates and numbers for the region you selected in the Appearance Samples fields.
This field
Shows the regional format for displaying
Time
Time in hours, minues, and seconds.
Short Date
The abbrevieviated date showing day, month, and year.
Long Date
The full date showing day of the week, month, and date.
Positive Numbers
Positive floating point numbers.
Negative Numbers
Negative floating point numbers.
Positive Currency
Positive floating point numbers representing values of currency.
Negative Currency
Negative floating point numbers representing values of currency.
